Job summary

Mitchell Maguire Limited is seeking an Area Sales Manager for Plumbing Merchants covering London & South East. The role focuses on field sales of plumbing fittings and accessories across 350+ accounts, with a target of £4m+ turnover and 70/30 split between account management and development.

The ideal candidate will have proven plumbing merchant sales experience, strong territory planning, and a proactive approach. Hybrid car and full benefits are included as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Proven field sales experience within the plumbing industry.
• Must have sold plumbing products into plumbers merchants or building merchants.
• Proven account management / development skills.
• Excellent territory planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Field sales to promote a distributed range of plumbing fittings, valves and accessories.
• Manage ~350+ trading merchant accounts with ~180 active customers.
• Work with an internal sales partner and CRM system for mobile access.
• Aim to maintain turnover targets and grow independents to budget.
