Job description

Plumbing Maintenance Engineer, Wellingborough

We are seeking a Plumbing Maintenance Engineer to join our EKFB team based in Rushden.

Location: Rushden, Northamptonshire – due to the mobile nature of the role, remote working is not applicable. Travel across EKFB sites is required.

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00. Some flexibility on hours is available; please discuss this during your application.

Responsibilities:

• Installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances
• Diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues across commercial sites
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
• Participating in an on-call rota for out-of-hours emergency repairs
• Providing excellent customer service with timely and efficient solutions
• Conducting weekly and monthly preventative maintenance, including fire alarm testing, emergency light testing, and building fabric maintenance

Candidate Requirements:

• Valid UK driving license
• Ability to pass (or already hold) an enhanced DBS check due to work on sensitive or secure sites
• Plumbing qualifications such as Level 2/3 NVQ and G3 ticket
