We're looking for a Plumbing Maintenance Engineer to join our EKFB team based in Rushden.

Location: Rushden, Northamptonshire – remote working is not applicable due to the mobile nature of the role, with travel across EKFB sites required.

Hours: 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00 – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Plumbing Maintenance Engineer, you'll work within the EKFB team, supporting them in maintaining and repairing plumbing systems across operational infrastructure and commercial environments.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances
• Diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues across commercial sites
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
• Participating in an on-call rota for out-of-hours emergency repairs
• Delivering excellent customer service and timely, efficient solutions
• Carrying out weekly and monthly preventative maintenance procedures such as fire alarm testing, emergency light testing, and building fabric maintenance.

What are we looking for?

This role of Plumbing Maintenance Engineer is ideal if:

You hold a valid UK driving license.

You are able to pass (or already hold) an enhanced DBS check due to work on sensitive or secure sites.

• Plumbing qualifications such as Level 2/3 NVQ and G3 ticket are preferred.
