Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a part-time Plumbing Assessor for a college in Hull. The role involves managing a caseload of students, reviewing evidence, and guiding learners through the NVQ course, with CPD support and flexible working patterns.
Requirements include a PGCE or equivalent (or willingness to work towards one), NVQ Level 3 in plumbing, an assessors award, and UK DBS clearance. Permanent placements may follow after a supply period.
Plumbing AssessorTradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a part time Plumbing Assessor to work at a college in Hull, starting ASAP (or earlier)and lasting on an ongoing basis. Ideally the school are looking for a temporary to permanent deal, where the successful candidate will spend 12 weeks on a supply basis before committing to a permanent contract with the college.
Payment for this position will be between £20 and £40 per hour depending on experience and qualifications, while on temporary, and ranging from £28,900 - £38,900 while on permanent (subject to pro rata).
The College is located in Hull, and is central, meaning it is easy to reach via public transport from all areas of the city. There is a car park onsite, but there are often not spaces available. Parking at a very local car park is available, with spaces always available, and this can be paid as additional wages.
This role will primarily involve will taking charge for a caseload of students and ensuring that they successfully navigate their way through the NVQ course. You will ideally have access to your own car, as you will be visiting different students while in their place of work. You will review the evidence that trainees submit, and provide constructive and formative feedback to ensure that they are working in the right direction to pass their end point assessments.
Tradewind will also support your development during your placement and beyond through our fantastic CPD via The National College. You will be put onto all of the same CPD as permanent staff members, and encouraged to grow.
