Job summary

PlumbLink is seeking experienced self-employed plumbers and heating engineers to join as ad hoc subcontractors in High Wycombe and surrounding areas. Duties include diagnosing faults, performing repairs, installations, and reporting work with customers. You’ll attend domestic properties and manage jobs from start to finish, with emphasis on professional service and reliability.

Gas Safe availability is noted for gas-related tasks. A valid UK driving licence and your own van/tools are required.

Qualifications

• Gas Safe registration is preferred for gas-related work and essential for gas-related tasks.
• Engineers should have a valid UK driving licence and their own vehicle for local travel.
• Self-employed/ad hoc subcontractors must be able to manage domestic jobs independently.

Responsibilities

• Attend domestic properties to diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and undertake installations.
• Provide accurate notes and photographic records of work performed.
• Communicate clearly with customers and offer professional recommendations for additional work.
