Job summary

PlumbLink Plumbing, Heating & Home Improvements is seeking a Security Systems Engineer for High Wycombe and surrounding areas. This is a self-employed, ad hoc subcontracting role offering residential and commercial installation, maintenance and fault-finding across multiple security disciplines.

You will work independently, building long-term relationships with clients, with a focus on high-quality workmanship, clear demonstrations to customers, and neat, compliant installations.

Qualifications

• Proven security systems installation experience.
• Experience with CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control.
• Own van and UK driving licence required.
• Good fault finding and diagnostic skills.
• Strong communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Attend residential and commercial properties for installations, upgrades, maintenance and fault finding.
• Install, commission and test intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, video entry and gate automation.
• Provide neat cable routing and professional finished appearance.
• Maintain accurate job notes and photos.
