Job summary

PlumbLink Plumbing, Heating & Home Improvements is seeking experienced bathroom and kitchen fitters for ad hoc subcontract work in High Wycombe and surrounding areas. Projects range from full refurbishments to individual installations, with pricing and scope agreed before work begins.

Ideal candidates will have proven fitting experience, own tools and vehicle, valid insurance, and the ability to work from plans with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Carry out bathroom and kitchen installations according to plans and scope.
• Coordinate effectively with plumbers, electricians, plasterers and other trades.
• Ensure a high-quality finish and professional standard.
• Site preparation, making good and finishing work.
• Pricing and scoping per project before commencement.

About the Opportunity

PlumbLink is looking to build relationships with experienced Bathroom & Kitchen Fitters to support our growing home improvement workload.

This is an ad hoc subcontracting opportunity rather than a fixed salaried position.

Work will be offered as suitable projects become available, with pricing and scope agreed before commencement.

The Work

Projects may range from individual installation work through to complete bathroom and kitchen refurbishments.

Typical work may include:

• Complete bathroom installations
• Complete kitchen installations
• Removal of existing kitchens and bathrooms
• Kitchen unit installation
• Worktop installation
• Bathroom furniture installation
• Shower enclosure and bath installation
• Sanitaryware installation
• Wall preparation
• Flooring
• Silicone and finishing work
• Making good
• General carpentry associated with installations
• Coordination with plumbers, electricians, plasterers and other trades

We are looking for someone capable of producing a professional finished result rather than simply completing individual tasks.

Payment

This is ad hoc subcontract work.

Jobs will generally be priced individually according to the scope, complexity and expected duration.

Rates and payment terms will be agreed before each project begins.

Working Area

Projects will primarily be within High Wycombe and approximately a 10 to 15 mile radius, including Beaconsfield, Marlow, Amersham, Hazlemere, Holmer Green, Bourne End, Wooburn Green, Princes Risborough and surrounding locations.
