Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Plumbing & Gas Trainer in Wigan for a well-established Further Education provider. You will deliver apprenticeship programmes up to Level 3 through practical workshops and classroom sessions, drawing on real-world installation, maintenance and compliance knowledge.

Qualifications

• Significant Plumbing & Gas industry experience.
• Gas Safe registration currently valid and up-to-date.
• Willingness to work toward a recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience training or mentoring apprentices desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Plumbing & Gas apprenticeship programmes up to Level 3.
• Mix of practical workshop and classroom-based theory sessions.
• Train learners across installation, maintenance, fault-finding and safe working practices.
• Develop apprentices' technical skills and industry knowledge.
• Bring Gas Safe requirements and regulations into training.
• Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate assessment and learner records.
• Support employer engagement and progression for learners.
