Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Plumber to transition off the tools into education in Slough. The role offers a full training program, a Monday to Friday 37-hour week, and the chance to mentor Plumbing apprentices while building a long-term career in FE.

With a starting salary of £41,096–£44,165 plus 40 days holiday, Local Government Pension and dedicated teacher training, this opportunity supports progression in vocational education and industry mentoring.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Plumbing & Heating is required.
• Experience with Gas systems is essential.
• Strong, demonstrable plumbing and heating industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Training and mentoring Plumbing apprentices throughout their apprenticeship.
• Working closely with apprentices and employers to support successful completion.
• Full training and ongoing professional development provided.
• Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.
• Some evening hours may be required, with TOIL provided.
• Excellent long-term progression and internal training opportunities.
