Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Plumbing & Gas Trainer in Wigan to deliver apprenticeship programmes up to Level 3. The role blends practical workshop sessions with classroom-based training, drawing on real-world installation, maintenance, fault-finding and safe working practices.

You will be supported to gain a recognised teaching qualification, with full training provided. This permanent, full-time position offers 37 hours per week, a strong benefits package and opportunities to

Qualifications

• Significant Plumbing & Gas industry experience.
• Current Gas Safe registration essential.
• Level 3 occupational competence or equivalent.
• Willingness to work towards a recognised teaching qualification.
• Level 2 English and Maths required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver plumbing & gas apprenticeship programmes up to Level 3 with workshop & classroom sessions.
• Train learners across installation, maintenance, fault-finding and safe working practices.
• Assess learner progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate assessment, progress and learner records.
• Work with employers and colleagues to support high-quality apprenticeship delivery.
