Metro Rod Newport & Hereford is seeking a reactive plumbing & drainage engineer in the Bangor area. This full-time, permanent role offers a salary of £35,000–£38,000 with on-call duties, overtime paid at 1.5x, and a benefits package.
You will primarily carry out plumbing works while supporting reactive drainage call-outs, blockages, and related tasks. A Full UK driving licence and a proactive, customer-focused approach are essential.

We are seeking a plumbing-focused engineer who is flexible, eager to learn, and interested in developing additional specialist skills within the drainage and leak detection industry.
The successful candidate will primarily carry out plumbing works but will also be expected to support reactive drainage call-outs, blockage clearances, and related works as part of a varied day-to-day role.
This role also forms part of an on-call rota, with overtime paid at 1.5x standard hourly rate.
There will be opportunities for further training and progression into specialist leak detection services.
We are looking for a competent Plumbing Engineer who is used to reactive work. Ideally we require an NVQ Level 2 however are open to someone with time-served experience as an alternative.
