Metro Rod Deeside & North Wales in Bangor area is seeking a Reactive Plumbing & Drainage Engineer to join a growing team. The role focuses on plumbing works while supporting reactive drainage call-outs and blockage clearances as part of a varied daily schedule.

The position offers a full-time permanent contract with a salary of £35,000 - £38,000 plus on-call duties, overtime and benefits, plus opportunities for training and progression within Franchise Brands.

The services are provided by over 60 franchisees with geographical coverage across the UK. What are we looking for?

We are seeking a plumbing-focused engineer who is flexible, eager to learn, and interested in developing additional specialist skills within the drainage and leak detection industry.

The successful candidate will primarily carry out plumbing works but will also be expected to support reactive drainage call-outs, blockage clearances, and related works as part of a varied day-to-day role.

This role also forms part of an on-call rota, with overtime paid at 1.5x standard hourly rate.

There will be opportunities for further training and progression into specialist leak detection services.

What skills & experience are we looking for?

We are looking for a competent Plumbing Engineer who is used to reactive work. Ideally we require an NVQ Level 2 however are open to someone with time-served experience as an alternative.
