Job summary

RNN Group is seeking a Plumbing Apprenticeship Skills Tutor to deliver engaging sessions and mentor apprentices across Rotherham College and partner sites. The role focuses on turning learners into elite tradespeople through industry insight and practical assessments.

You will assess, track progress, and develop KSBs while supporting apprentices on-site and through e-portfolios, with a strong emphasis on professional standards and real-world outcomes.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent) required.
• A1/V1 Assessor Award and Level 5 Teaching Qualification preferred or a clear pathway to achieve them.
• Strong people skills and ability to build relationships with learners and partner organisations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging sessions that bridge workshop learning with on-site practice.
• Develop Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours (KSBs) that meet modern employer needs.
• Conduct on-site performance reviews and assessments to ensure high professional standards.
• Track learner progress using e-portfolios and communicate with learners and employers.
