Job summary

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a proactive Plumbing Technical Tutor to join the Apprenticeship Department at our Slough and Langley campuses. This full-time role delivers face-to-face plumbing training to apprentices, mentoring their progress and preparing them for end point assessments.

You will conduct regular progress reviews using digital tools like e-portfolios and Microsoft Teams, work with employers, and support learners to reach their potential.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Plumbing and Heating qualification.
• Assessor Award (CAVA/A1) or willing to work towards one.
• Gas qualifications (CCN1/CENWAT) desirable but not essential.
• Experience supporting apprentices in training or education.
• Teaching qualification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support and mentor a caseload of Plumbing apprentices.
• Coach learners to develop their skills, knowledge and behaviours.
• Conduct regular progress reviews using digital tools.
• Ensure funding and audit compliance.
