Job summary

Gilmartins, a family‑owned employer, is recruiting Experienced Plumber Multi Traders to perform reactive property repairs for social housing across North London.

The role requires shift work 6pm–4am, 4 on/2 off, with travel across the region. You must have a full driving licence, own tools and a DBS certificate. Previous social housing experience is preferred and there are good career development opportunities.

Job description

Gilmartins is a family owned and run business; our staff are valued and our ethos is to promote from within. Our Board of Directors mostly started on the tools themselves so have a ‘hands‑on’ understanding of the work we do.

We are well established in the social housing sector and provide reactive repairs for local authorities and housing associations.

Gilmartins are looking to recruit experienced Plumber Multi Traders with additional trades such as basic electrics, changing/replacing locks, window repairs/boarding up. The ideal trades person will have worked in social housing.

The job requires shift work between 6pm to 4am Monday to Sunday, on a 4 on 2 off rota basis,including when this falls on a Weekend and Public Holiday.

The job requires work and travel across North London. We are looking for people who live locally and are happy to travel.
