Job summary

Gilmartins is seeking an experienced Plumber Multi Trader with basic carpentry, electrical, plastering and tiling skills to join our social housing reactive repairs team across South London, including Croydon, Merton, Wandsworth and Bromley.

The role requires travel between properties and a DBS certificate; a Full Manual Driving Licence and own tools are essential. We offer a company van, fuel card, 28 days’ holiday, and yearly call-out compensation.

Qualifications

• Experience in social housing is preferred.
• Full manual driving license (not automatic).
• Own tools required.
• DBS certificate is required.

ilmartins are recruiting for an experienced Plumber Multi Trader with basic carpentry & electrics, patch plastering, tiling skills.

The ideal person will have worked in social housing previously.

We work in social housing and provide reactive repairs for local authorities and housing associations.

The job requires you to travel across South London including areas Croydon, Merton, Wandsworth,Merton and Bromley. (travelling will be required)

Gilmartins is a family owned and run business; our staff are valued and our ethos is to promote from within. Our Board of Directors mostly started on the tools themselves so have a 'hands-on' understanding of the work we do.

Hours of work are 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday with 1 Saturday or Sunday in 4 required on a rota basis paid extra to salary, call-outs once every 4 weeks from Monday to Sunday, 5pm to 1am (£35-£50 per call out)
