Job summary

CBW is seeking a Plumber for a permanent, full-time role across Glasgow and the Central Belt of Scotland, with a salary up to £38,000 DOE. You will perform PPMs, maintenance and repair of mechanical and plumbing installations, and ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed and passed promptly to the contract administrator.

Real-time CAFM updates are required. A recognised industry qualification is required; trade-qualified Mechanical/Plumber with post-apprenticeship experience is desirable.

• Full clean driving licence essential.
• Asbestos awareness preferable.
• MEWP Licence preferable.

Responsibilities

• PPM carried out in accordance with the maintenance specification.
• Maintenance and repair of Mechanical Installation.
• Maintenance and repair of Plumbing Installations.
• Paperwork for PPM, reactive and breakdowns passed to the contract administrator without delay.
• Update CAFM system in real time.
• Rectify plant faults promptly to keep plant in serviceable order.

CBW have a new opportunity for a Plumber to join a leading facilities provider. This role is a permanent full-time role working across Glasgow and the Central Belt of Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all PPM is carried out in accordance with the maintenance specification.
• Maintenance and repair of Mechanical Installation.
• Maintenance and repair of Plumbing Installations
• Ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed regarding PPM, reactive and breakdown works and that it is passed without delay to the contract administrator.
• Update customers CAFM system in real time.
• Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to maintain plant in serviceable order.

Person Specification:

• A recognised industry qualification will be required, and previous experience is essential.
• Trade qualified Mechanical/Plumber with appropriate post apprenticeship experience desirable.
• Must have a full clean drivers’ licence.
• Asbestos awareness (preferable but not essential)
• MEWP Licence (preferable but not essential)
