Job summary

CBW Ltd in Glasgow seeks a Plumber to join a leading facilities provider. This permanent, full-time role covers Glasgow and the Central Belt of Scotland, offering a salary up to £38,000 depending on experience. You will perform PPMs, repairs, and maintain plumbing installations in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate holds a recognised industry qualification, a valid driving licence, and IOSH or equivalent H&S awareness. Legionella/Asbestos awareness are a plus.

Qualifications

• Recognised industry qualification is required.
• H&S qualification (IOSH preferable).
• Trade qualified Mechanical/Plumber with post-apprenticeship experience desirable.
• Must have a full clean driving licence.
• Legionella awareness (preferable).
• Asbestos awareness (preferable but not essential).
• MEWP Licence (preferable but not essential).

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with the maintenance specification.
• Maintain and repair mechanical installations.
• Maintain and repair plumbing installations.
• Complete all relevant paperwork for PPM, reactive and breakdown works and pass to the contract administrator promptly.
• Update CAFM system in real time for customers.
• Ensure plant faults and defects are remedied to keep plant in serviceable order.

CBW have a new opportunity for a Plumber to join a leading facilities provider. This role is a permanent full-time role working across Glasgow and the Central Belt of Scotland.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all PPM is carried out in accordance with the maintenance specification.
• Maintenance and repair of Mechanical Installation.
• Maintenance and repair of Plumbing Installations
• Ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed regarding PPM, reactive and breakdown works and that it is passed without delay to the contract administrator.
• Update customers CAFM system in real time.
• Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to maintain plant in serviceable order.

Person Specification

• A recognised industry qualification will be required, and previous experience is essential.
• H&S qualification (IOSH preferable)
• Trade qualified Mechanical/Plumber with appropriate post apprenticeship experience desirable.
• Must have a full clean drivers’ licence.
• Legionella awareness (preferable - can provide training)
• Asbestos awareness (preferable but not essential)
• MEWP Licence (preferable but not essential)
