Job summary

Artic Building Services is seeking a Plumber to join our team, working across Kings College London campuses. You will perform maintenance and reactive tasks on client sites, complete safety checks, and report on works.

The role is Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, with a permanent contract and immediate start. You will liaise with contract managers, uphold safety standards, and contribute to ongoing facilities management across HVAC and plumbing systems.

Qualifications

• Completed applicable apprenticeship and possess relevant Plumbing industry qualifications.
• Experience in HVAC and Building Services environments.
• Proven history in plumbing maintenance and client-facing teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and reactive plumbing tasks on client sites.
• Complete PDA tasks including Risk Assessments and report writing.
• Coordinate with contract managers on site works and additional requirements.
• Maintain good client relations and provide technical support as needed.
• Prepare weekly timesheets and update site information with administration.

Job Description

Job Role: Plumber

Location: Kings College London – working across x3 campuses

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

Start Date: Immediately

Duration: Permanent

Reporting To: Engineering Manager

Skills Required

• Completed applicable apprenticeship and possess relevant Plumbing industry qualifications.
• Comprehensive working experience from an HVAC and Building Services environment
• A continuous history of employment within the HVAC and Building Services industry
• Proven technical knowledge of plumbing maintenance
• Ability to develop and be part of a team. Manage their own time, works and paperwork
• Capable of building long term relationships with clients both of existing and prospective
• Positive attitude "can do will do".
• Flexible in approach to hours and solving problems on site
• Commercially astute, driven to identify and generate additional works / sales
• Provide technical support to administration staff as required.

Job Duties

• Carry out maintenance and reactive tasks to plant on client site
• Complete all relevant job tasks on PDA including Risk Assessments
• Provide Further works reports where required
• Liaise with the client concerning work completed and any further works required
• Update contract managers with relevant client or site information
• Inform administrator of any site or plant changes / site plant asset management
• Collecting parts from supplier or head office where applicable
• Provide weekly timesheet to office on a Monday
