Job summary

Artic Building Services is seeking a Plumber to cover sites at King’s College London across three campuses. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, with immediate start and permanent status.

You will carry out maintenance and reactive tasks on client site, complete PDA tasks including risk assessments, and report on any further works needed while liaising with the client and contract managers. • Completed applicable apprenticeship and possess relevant Plumbing industry qualifications.
• Comprehensive working experience from an HVAC and Building Services environment.
• A continuous history of employment within the HVAC and Building Services industry.
• Proven technical knowledge of plumbing maintenance.
• Ability to develop and be part of a team. Manage own time, work and paperwork.
• Capable of building long‑term relationships with clients both existing and prospective.
• Positive attitude “can do will do”.
• Flexible in approach to hours and solving problems on site.
• Commercially astute, driven to identify and generate additional works/sales.
• Provide technical support to administration staff as required.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with the client concerning work completed and any further works required.
• Update contract managers with relevant client or site information.
• Inform administrator of any site or plant changes / site plant asset management.
• Collect parts from supplier or head office where applicable.
• Provide weekly timesheet to office on a Monday.
