Job summary

Artic Building Services is seeking an AC Engineer to work across Kings College London campuses on a permanent basis. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm, with an immediate start and reporting to the Engineering Manager.

The role requires proven HVAC expertise, including VRF/VRV, AHUs and refrigeration, plus an ability to develop client relationships and work as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Completed applicable apprenticeship and possess AC and refrigeration qualifications, including Safe Handling (2079).
• Extensive HVAC and Building Services experience.
• Proven history in HVAC and Building Services environments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and reactive tasks to plant on client site.
• Complete all relevant job tasks on PDA including Risk Assessments.
• Provide Further works reports where required.
• Liaise with the client concerning work completed and any further works required.
• Update contract managers with relevant client or site information.
• Inform administrator of site or plant changes / asset management.
• Collecting parts from supplier or head office where applicable.
• Provide weekly timesheet to office on a Monday.

Job Role: AC Engineer

Skills Required

• Completed applicable apprenticeship and possess relevant AC and Refrigeration industry qualifications. Including up to date Safe Handling (2079)
• Comprehensive working experience from an HVAC and Building Services environment
• A continuous history of employment within the HVAC and Building Services industry
• Proven technical knowledge of a wide spectrum of Air Conditioning systems and plant including that of: VRF, VRVS, AHU’s, Coldroom’s and Specialist Refrigeration
• Ability to develop and be part of a team. Manage their own time, works and paperwork
• Capable of building long term relationships with clients both of existing and prospective
• Positive attitude “can do will do”.
• Flexible in approach to hours and solving problems on site
• Commercially astute, driven to identify and generate additional works / sales
• Provide technical support to administration staff as required.
