Job summary

Thirteen Group in Tees Valley is seeking a Plumber to join our Repairs Team. You will carry out high‑quality plumbing repairs across our properties, guided by planned work and the TradePlus program to broaden skills.

We provide a company van, fuel card and tools, with a fixed shift pattern from 8.30am to 4.30pm Mon-Thu and 8.30am to 4pm Fri in summer; plus 8am–4pm Mon-Thu and 8.30am–3.30pm Fri in winter. NVQ Level 3 and a valid UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Must have NVQ Level 3 in plumbing.
• Relevant plumbing experience.
• Comfortable using digital devices and apps for job allocation.
• Commitment to safe working practices and health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support repairs team to meet high standards for customers.
• Jobs are planned by Work Planners for right-first-time repairs.
• Work primarily in Tees Valley (Hartlepool, Stockton, Middlesbrough) with occasional travel.
• Contribute to TradePlus scheme to broaden skills and efficiency.

• Fixed Shift Pattern - 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 4pm on Fridays in summer. In the winter, these hours will be 8am to 4pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 3.30pm on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support our repairs team, to make sure our homes meet the highest standards for our customers. We'll provide you with a company van, fuel card, tools and any PPE you'll need for the role.
• Jobs are planned for you by our Work Planners – so you can concentrate on carrying out repairs to a high standard, ensuring ‘right first time’ wherever possible.
• Work primarily in the vibrant Tees Valley area (Hartlepool, Stockton, Middlesbrough), with occasional travel beyond.
• Contribute to our ‘TradePlus’ scheme, acquiring diverse skills to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

About You:

• Have relevant experience in plumbing and holds an NVQ level 3.
• Skilled in general semi-skilled works and eager to assist in various trades.
• Must possess a valid UK driving licence.
• Comfortable using digital devices or be willing to learn. We use mobile and hand-held devices to allocate jobs and for you to record your completion of work.
• A commitment to safe working practices and a good grasp of health and safety regulations.
