Skilled Careers is seeking an experienced Social Housing Plumber to join our repairs and maintenance team in Kingston upon Thames. You will perform plumbing repairs, maintenance and installations across social housing properties, ensuring work is safe, efficient and of high standard.

This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with a 8am–5pm day, and a company van with fuel. A relevant NVQ Level 2/3 and proven domestic plumbing knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a plumber, ideally within social housing.
• NVQ Level 2/3 Plumbing or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of domestic plumbing systems.

Responsabilités

• Carry out responsive plumbing repairs and planned maintenance in social housing properties.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing faults, leaks, blockages and water supply issues.
• Install and repair taps, toilets, sinks, baths, showers, pipework and fittings.
• Complete minor plumbing and maintenance works as required.
• Attend emergency and urgent repairs when required.
• Work with tenants providing professional customer service.

Location: Kingston Upon Thames

Salary: £22 per hour plus van & fuel

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Social Housing Plumber to join our repairs and maintenance team. You will be responsible for carrying out plumbing repairs, maintenance and installations across social housing properties, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out responsive plumbing repairs and planned maintenance in occupied and vacant social housing properties
• Diagnose and repair plumbing faults, leaks, blockages and water supply issues
• Install and repair taps, toilets, sinks, baths, showers, pipework and associated fittings
• Complete minor plumbing and maintenance works as required
• Attend emergency and urgent repairs when required
• Work respectfully with tenants and provide a professional customer service
• Complete job sheets, records and compliance documentation accurately
• Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety requirements and industry standards

Requirements

• Proven experience as a plumber, ideally within social housing, local authority or housing association environments
• Relevant plumbing qualifications, such as NVQ Level 2/3 Plumbing or equivalent
• Good knowledge of domestic plumbing systems and repairs
• Full UK driving licence
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily schedule
• Commitment to health and safety and delivering high-quality workmanship
