Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd in Oxford is seeking a Plumber to join one of Oxford's largest contractors, with a company van, fuel card and tools allowance from day one. You will work across well-maintained domestic properties as part of a reliable team with long-term prospects.

The role requires NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) or 5+ years in plumbing, a full UK driving licence, and experience in domestic plumbing and social housing. DBS clearance is noted, and iPad/iPhone use is essential.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in plumbing or more then 5 years experience within the plumbing trade.
  • A full UK driving licence is required.
  • Experience doing domestic plumbing and working in social housing environments.
  • Ability to use iPad or iPhone is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Repairs to domestic plumbing installations.
  • Installation of replacement sanitary ware, baths, shower trays and level decks.
  • Installation of kitchen sinks and new pipe work.
  • Install and repair water mains, heating pipe work, drainage stop taps.
  • Install and fix domestic appliances like showers and washing machines.

Skills

I'd be keen to see applications from anyone with experience in general building trades, whether you've previously worked as a Domestic Plumber, Maintenance Plumber, or Bathroom Fitter.

As a Plumber you will be:
  • Repairs to domestic plumbing installations
  • Installation of replacement sanitary ware and baths, shower trays and level decks and associated equipment
  • Installation of kitchen sinks
  • Installation of new pipe work (copper, speed fit, waste, rainwater)
  • Installation and repairs of new sundry items such as taps and ball valves
  • Installing and repairing water mains supplies, heating system pipe work and drainage stop taps
  • Installing and fixing domestic appliances like showers and washing machines
  • Vented and unvented cylinder heads
  • Cold waterstorage tank maintenance and renewal
I'd love to speak to anyone who has:
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in plumbing or more then 5 years experience within the plumbing trade
