RG Setsquare is seeking a Plumber / Maintenance Technician to work on a static site in HU14. This site-based role focuses on maintaining plumbing systems and supporting general building maintenance.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and carry out water hygiene tasks while ensuring strict health and safety procedures on a high-profile commercial site. Immediate start available, 45 hours per week.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing or equivalent.
• Experience in building services, facilities maintenance, or commercial environments.
• Legionella Awareness Level 2 certification is essential.
• Ability to carry out both planned and reactive maintenance duties.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.

Responsabilités

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on plumbing systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults on water systems, pipework, sanitary ware, taps, toilets, and plumbing equipment.
• Complete routine inspections and maintenance tasks as required by site.
• Undertake legionella control measures and water hygiene tasks.
• Accurately complete maintenance records and reports.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with site health and safety procedures.
• Liaise with site management and other maintenance personnel to ensure smooth site operations.

• Location: HU14
• Rate: £19.00 per hour PAYE (circa £24.50 per hour Umbrella)
• Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 5:00pm
• Duration: Until end of January (with potential extension)

The Role

RG Setsquare is currently recruiting for a Plumber / Maintenance Technician to work on a static site. This is a site-based maintenance position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining plumbing systems and supporting general building maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on plumbing systems.

• Legionella Awareness Level 2 certification is essential.

• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently.
