A government facility services provider based in Newport is seeking a dedicated Plumber (Level 2) to join the Facilities Maintenance Team at HMP Parkhurst. Contract: Permanent - Full Time (39 hours per week) - Monday to Friday

As a Plumber / Mechanical Engineer (Level 2) you will work alongside experienced colleagues across various trades to maintain a safe and secure environment for prisoners, employees and visitors.
GFSL is a five‑year‑old Ministry of Justice business providing critical services to HMPPS. The firm will transfer services to the private sector by August 2027 after a procurement process. GFSL is ISO 9001 certified and promotes diversity and inclusion with ongoing learning and training.
GFSL has been notified by its shareholder (MOJ) that the provision of FM services will be delivered by the private sector in the future. Services will complete transfer to a private sector provider/providers no sooner than August 2027.
