Multi Trades Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced plumber for reactive maintenance across social housing properties in South Manchester (Altrincham, Wythenshawe, Cheadle, Wilmslow and surrounding areas).

You will work Mon–Fri 8:30am–5pm, with occasional on-call. The role includes servicing taps, toilets, baths, kitchen fittings and drainage, in occupied and void properties. A company van or your own van with fuel costs covered is available.

Qualificações

• Qualified / time-served plumber.
• Valid CSCS card required.
• DBS ideally (can be obtained before start).
• Previous social housing / reactive maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience working in occupied and void properties.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Own tools required.

Responsabilidades

• Repairing and replacing taps, toilets, sinks and washbasins.
• Diagnosing and repairing leaks, burst pipes and faulty pipework.
• Installing and repairing baths, showers and bathroom fittings.
• Plumbing works associated with wet rooms and accessible bathrooms.
• Installing and connecting kitchen sinks, wastes and appliances.
• Repairing waste pipes, traps, valves and drainage connections.
• Completing reactive maintenance jobs across multiple properties.
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
• Following all health & safety procedures.

Conhecimentos

About the Role:

• Working Hours - Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm (Sporadic on call rota)
• Pay Rate - £24.00 per hour
• Duration - Up to 8 years contract for the right candidate
• Location - South Manchester - Altrincham, Wythenshawe, Cheadle, Wilmslow and surrounding areas
• Start Date - Early December 2026

Brief Role Description - We are looking for experienced Plumbers to carry out reactive maintenance and repair works across occupied and void social housing properties.

Duties will include:

• Repairing and replacing taps, toilets, sinks and washbasins.
• Diagnosing and repairing leaks, burst pipes and faulty pipework.
• Installing and repairing baths, showers and bathroom fittings.
• Plumbing works associated with wet rooms and accessible bathrooms.
• Installing and connecting kitchen sinks, wastes and appliances.

• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.

Vehicle Arrangements:

• Company van and fuel card can be provided.
• Alternatively, operatives can use their own van with fuel costs reimbursed.

About You:
