18 Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Plumber for a permanent role in social housing across Leeds. You will carry out responsive repairs, planned maintenance, and refurbishment work in occupied and void properties, with a company van and fuel card provided.

The role requires fault finding, quick repairs, and high-quality workmanship, with strong customer service as you work in tenants' homes. A full UK driving licence and DBS check are required; relevant plumbing qualifications are

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a plumber within repairs and maintenance.
• Experience in social housing is highly desirable.
• Ability to carry out reactive and planned plumbing works.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Own basic trade tools and full UK driving licence.
• Clean DBS check and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day plumbing repairs within social housing properties.
• Diagnose and repair leaks, burst pipes, and faulty pipework.
• Repair, replace, and install taps, toilets, basins, baths, and showers.
• Carry out bathroom refurbishment and upgrade works.
• Repair and replace hot and cold-water systems.
• Undertake waste pipe and drainage repairs; trace and resolve plumbing faults efficiently.
• Complete minor tiling, patch plastering, and making-good works associated with plumbing repairs.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
• Accurately complete job sheets and maintenance records.
• Deliver excellent customer service while working in tenants' homes.
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures and company standards.

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused plumber to join a busy repairs and maintenance team delivering responsive repairs, planned maintenance, and refurbishment works across occupied and void properties.
