Build Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Plumber for social housing maintenance in North West London (Harrow, Brent, Barnet, Camden & Islington). The permanent position offers a salary of £38,000–£40,000 with potential call-out and overtime to £45k–£50k.

A company vehicle is provided, supporting long-term collaboration with a reputable contractor. You will perform reactive and planned maintenance in occupied properties, ensuring high standards and safe, tidy environments for tenants.

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Carry out day-to-day plumbing repairs and maintenance in occupied properties.
• Diagnose and resolve faults, aiming for first-time fixes.
• Work within North West London social housing sites (Harrow, Brent, Barnet, Camden & Islington).
• Complete work to a high standard and keep areas clean and safe.
• Provide clear job reports using PDA or mobile system.

The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plumber to join a leading social housing contractor, working on a long-term contract. This role involves carrying out reactive and planned maintenance within occupied properties across North West London.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day plumbing repairs and maintenance
• Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently (first-time fix approach)
• Work in occupied social housing properties
• Complete all work to a high standard
• Ensure properties are left clean, safe, and tidy
• Provide excellent customer service to tenants
• Accurately complete job reports using a PDA or mobile system

Requirements

• Proven experience in plumbing maintenance (social housing preferred)
• NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 in Plumbing
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in occupied properties
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Full UK driving licence (clean) – essential
