Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd is seeking a Plumber to cover Swindon and surrounding areas, joining a busy reactive repairs team in social housing. You will handle a wide range of plumbing tasks in occupied properties and work within a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

The role offers £23 per hour plus a company van and fuel, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am-5pm with a 1-hour break, and a temp-to-perm route after 16 weeks at a salary of £36,000-£38,000.

Qualifications

• Strong plumbing experience.
• Previous experience working as a Plumber in reactive repairs or maintenance.
• Social housing experience is preferred, although similar domestic maintenance experience will be considered.
• A full UK driving licence with 6 points or fewer.
• A DBS - if you don't currently have one, this can be arranged.

Responsibilities

• Complete reactive plumbing repairs across occupied social housing properties.
• Carry out taps changes and minor to more extensive plumbing works.
• Undertake associated multi-trade repairs as part of the response team.
• Work across housing association properties.

Plumber role covering Swindon, paying £23 per hour + company van and fuel, with the opportunity to go permanent after 16 weeks on a salary of £36,000-£38,000.

This is a fast-paced reactive repairs role working across occupied social housing properties as part of a response team. You'll need to be confident carrying out a wide range of plumbing repairs alongside associated multi-trade works, managing a busy workload and dealing professionally with residents.
