Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is hiring a Plumber in Cardiff. The role is based at a prison, focused on maintaining plumbing systems and supporting the wider facilities team to keep the site safe and fully operational.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and Heating is required.
• Commercial plumbing maintenance experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of plumbing and heating systems.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out routine and reactive plumbing maintenance.
• Repairing and maintaining mains water systems.
• Diagnosing faults and identifying issues with plumbing equipment.
• Inspecting plumbing systems and carrying out water sampling.
• Completing risk assessments and compliance checks.
• Supporting general maintenance duties when required.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to the required standards.

Key Responsibilities

As a Plumber, you'll be responsible for maintaining the site's plumbing systems and supporting the wider facilities operation, including:

• Full UK driving licence
