Job summary

Clayton Legal is recruiting an experienced Plot Sales Conveyancer to join its Real Estate team, specialising in residential property transactions for developers, investors, lenders, and private clients.

The successful candidate will issue and prepare contract packs, handle pre-contract enquiries, manage exchanges of contracts, completion statements, and related procedures, and perform Land Registry applications and SDLT returns for the wider team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in plot sales or residential conveyancing.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload.
• Experience liaising with clients and solicitors.
• Strong IT skills and document production experience.

Responsibilities

• Issuing and preparing contract packs.
• Handling pre-contract enquiries and exchanges.
• Managing completion procedures and statements.
• Carrying out Land Registry applications and SDLT returns.
• Procuring searches and maintaining files.
• Providing support to wider Real Estate team.
