Job summary

JS Legal Recruitment Limited represents a leading UK property developer seeking an experienced Conveyancer to join their in-house legal team on a fixed-term contract. You will manage plot sales, part exchanges and purchases, ensuring timely exchanges and accurate documentation across group companies.

The role requires strong knowledge of Residential Conveyancing, title checks, and AML processes, with hybrid working up to two days per week after probation.

Qualifications

• Experience in plot sales for a residential house builder is preferred.
• Qualification through the Institute of Legal Executives, Council of Licensed Conveyancers or a law degree is advantageous.
• Sound knowledge of residential conveyancing, practice and procedure.

Responsibilities

• Manage plot sales, part exchanges and purchases for designated group companies.
• Prepare plot documentation and manage lease transfers for efficient completion.
• Conduct title checks and report risks; resolve issues with purchaser's solicitors.
• Maintain AML checks and ensure exchanges are achieved within timescales.
• Support post-completion matters including SDLT returns and land registrations.
