Job summary

PLM in the United Kingdom is seeking a PLM Consultant to translate client needs into practical PLM solutions across engineering, manufacturing and lifecycle management.

You will lead workshops, configure Windchill, Creo or ThingWorx, and manage data migrations while delivering trainings and ensuring projects stay on track. You will build strong client relationships and provide trusted advisory throughout the journey.

Qualifications

• Experience in consultancy or similar client-facing roles is essential.
• Ability to translate business needs into practical PLM recommendations and solution designs.
• Experience configuring PLM systems to match client workflows and requirements.
• Familiarity with integrating PLM with ERP, CAD, CRM and IoT platforms.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse client requirements across product development, manufacturing and lifecycle management.
• Translate business needs into clear PLM recommendations and solution designs.
• Configure PLM systems to match client workflows, business rules and industry requirements.
• Support software installation, configuration, customisation and data migration.
• Integrate PLM solutions with wider enterprise systems such as ERP, CAD, CRM and IoT platforms.
• Lead implementation activity, keeping projects on track against timelines and budgets.
• Deliver training and workshops to help client teams get the most from the system.
• Provide technical support and act as an escalation point for PLM-related issues.
• Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor throughout the project.
• Stay current on PLM trends, best practice and emerging digital transformation technologies.
