Job summary

PLM is seeking a skilled Consultant in the United Kingdom to work with clients across engineering, manufacturing and lifecycle management. You will translate business needs into practical PLM solutions, configure systems, and lead implementation efforts to deliver value.

You will gather requirements, run workshops, and provide training while building strong client relationships. A background in IT, mechanical engineering or manufacturing will support success in this consultative role.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years’ experience in consultancy or a similar client-facing role
• Understanding of PLM, digital transformation or engineering software environments
• Experience with Windchill, Creo or ThingWorx
• Background in IT, industrial design, mechanical engineering, manufacturing or related field
• Ability to translate requirements into practical solution recommendations
• Clear project management basics and client workshop facilitation skills
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse client requirements across product development, manufacturing and lifecycle management
• Translate business needs into PLM recommendations and designs
• Configure PLM systems to match client workflows and industry requirements
• Support software installation, configuration, data migration
• Integrate PLM with ERP, CAD, CRM and IoT platforms
• Lead implementation activities within timelines and budgets
• Deliver training and workshops for client teams
• Provide technical support and act as escalation point for PLM issues
• Build strong client relationships and act as trusted advisor
• Stay current on PLM trends and digital transformation technologies
