Job summary

SEA seeks a PLM Engineer to act as the technical authority for our Product Lifecycle Management environment across UK sites, offering hybrid and flexible working.

You will set the architecture, governance, and continuous improvement of PLM capabilities, support configuration management, rollout testing, and end-user training. The role requires strong PLM experience, ARAS Innovator knowledge, and programming with C#, VB, and SQL.

Qualifications

• Significant PLM platform experience and engineering data management background.
• Deep understanding of product lifecycle processes, configuration management, change control, and data governance.
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting PLM solutions in manufacturing/engineering environments.
• Strong systems integration and enterprise architecture knowledge.
• Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical authority for the PLM environment.
• Define strategic direction, architecture, governance, and continuous improvement of PLM capabilities.
• Support PLM configuration management processes.
• Support PLM rollout testing and training of end users.
• Configure PLM to fit business needs and develop deployment packages.
• Provide SME administration and develop business reports within the system.
• Advise on future PLM roadmap and monitor industry trends.

Job description

Salary: £50,000 - 50,000 per year

Requirements:

• Significant experience working with enterprise PLM platforms and engineering data management solutions
• Deep understanding of product lifecycle processes, configuration management, engineering change control, and product data governance
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting PLM solutions in a manufacturing, engineering, or product development environment
• Strong understanding of systems integration principles and enterprise architecture
• Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives and influence stakeholders across multiple functions
• Knowledge of the ARAS Innovator PLM system
• Development skills using Visual Basic or C#
• SQL

• We provide SME administration for the system
