Job summary

E3recruitment is seeking an Automation Process Improvement Engineer to join a days-based role with a UK-based market leader. You will travel across regional manufacturing sites, providing hands-on PLC automation and maintenance expertise to improve equipment reliability and plant performance.

The role offers a company car, 18% bonus on £55,000 base, pension match up to 10%, and extensive training and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

Previous experience as Maintenance Engineer from either an electrical or mechanical background.
Automation, Programming, PLC Controls.
Electrical Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3 Engineering or City & Guilds Level 3, BTEC Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent Naric / Enic Conversion.
Ability to troubleshoot & repair manufacturing plant equipment & machinery.
Experience in Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance within industrial manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

Travel across the region to provide support to group manufacturing sites.
Provide hands-on technical support and drive Plant Operational Improvement as part of the Group Engineering function.
Support the development of the Reliability Centred Maintenance Strategy by supporting criticality assessments and drive towards condition-based monitoring.
Enhance plant reliability by applying modern maintenance strategies and continuous improvement techniques.
Support new and innovative process automation initiatives.
