Job summary

The Link Education Trust seeks a Wraparound care Playworker for the Sunrise and Sunset provision to run the Before and After School Club for children aged 4–11 in a safe, caring environment. The role is fixed term for 1 year, with 5.5 hours per week (2 nights a week, Tue/Thu 3:15pm–6:00pm).

James Brindley Primary School joined the Trust in January 2024 within an inclusive partnership. The successful candidate will be a supportive team player, committed to safeguarding and high standards of care.

Job description

Employer: The Link Education Trust
Working Hours: Minimum of 5.5 hours per week (equates to 2 nights a week, 3.15pm to 6pm on a Tuesday and Thursday)
Contract Type: Fixed Term for 1 year

We are looking to appoint a Wraparound care Playworker for our Sunrise and Sunset provision. You will be expected to facilitate the day-to-day organisation of the Before and After School Club by providing high standards of care and play opportunities for children between the ages of 4-11 years old in a safe and secure environment.
