Job summary

TeacherActive are recruiting a Nursery Practitioner for a friendly setting in Trafford Park. The role is temporary with potential for longer-term placement, delivering activities in line with EYFS and caring for children from 6 months to 5 years.

You will have at least 3 months' UK nursery experience, a Level 2/3 in Early Years desirable, strong communication and a patient, caring approach. Salary £14.25–£16.35 per hour, paid PAYE.

Qualifications

• At least 3 months' experience in a UK nursery or childcare setting.
• Level 2/3 in Early Years is desirable but not essential.
• Solid understanding of the EYFS framework and learning through play.

Responsibilities

• Deliver EYFS-aligned activities and learning through play.
• Support children’s communication, social and emotional development.
• Promote positive behaviour and a safe, engaging environment.
