Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Nursery Practitioner in Manchester on a temporary basis, with potential for longer-term placement. You will deliver EYFS-aligned activities for children 6 months to 5 years, promote positive behaviour and support communication and social development.

Role requires at least 3 months' nursery experience; Level 2/3 EYFS desirable; SEND experience is a plus. On-site in Manchester with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months' nursery/childcare experience in the UK.
• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification desirable.
• Understanding of EYFS and learning through play.
• Excellent communication and group management skills.
• SEND experience desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging activities in line with EYFS framework.
• Promote positive behaviour and support development.
• Support children aged 6 months to 5 years; assist communication, social and emotional growth.
