Job summary

Oliver Bernard is seeking an Applications Support Lead in central London to drive reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of the platform stack. This hands-on leadership role combines deep technical expertise with team management and operational ownership.

Lead a team of support/platform engineers, coordinate with stakeholders and engineering, and define strategies to scale platforms for business operations. Strong DevOps and API/microservices knowledge are desirable.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an application support role or similar.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Terraform and Docker.
• Scripting or OO language experience.
• SQL/DB experience (MongoDB).
• Java knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with configuration management, automation & orchestration.
• Knowledge of APIs and microservices desirable.
• Led teams and acted as go-to senior in a team.
