Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and advanced applied experience.
• Ability to discuss technical topics with engineers and explain concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Foundational understanding of APIs, microservices, cloud platforms, CI/CD, observability, incident management, or software delivery.
• Experience solving ambiguous problems by asking thoughtful questions and breaking work into practical next steps.

Responsibilities

• Support the product strategy and delivery of reliability capabilities, including standards, observability, incident practices, automation, and developer experience improvements.
• Partner with engineers, site reliability engineers, and cross-functional teams to understand problems and translate ideas into clear product work.
• Support roadmap planning and prioritisation to align delivery with business goals, engineering needs, and reliability outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to improve platform reliability and reduce operational friction for teams.
• Use data, including incident trends and service health metrics, to guide decisions and measure progress.
• Create clear product materials, including problem statements, user stories, acceptance criteria, release notes, and enablement content.
• Facilitate Agile delivery ceremonies and maintain delivery hygiene across boards and tickets.
• Use approved AI tools to draft and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation.
