Job summary

ClearCourse seeks a Platform Operations Director to own the technology estate across the group, from end-user devices to cloud production environments. Reporting to the CTTO, you will lead infrastructure, SRE, security operations, and FinOps cost discipline.

This role requires Azure, IaC, and multi-entity IT leadership, with a track record in incident response, DR/BCP, and vendor management. Hybrid work in London supports cost efficiency and resilience across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of cloud/infra operations across multiple sites.
• Experience with Azure cost optimisation and FinOps.
• Strong incident response leadership at group level.
• Familiarity with MS 365/IT systems administration and IAM practices.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technology estate including cloud, hosting, and internal IT.
• Lead security operations in collaboration with the CISO.
• Oversee DR planning, backup testing, and BCP.
• Manage IAM, identity, and access across the portfolio.
• Drive vendor and FinOps cost management across the group.
