Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment is offering a full-time apprenticeship in Business Administration at our Liverpool site. You will be part of the Platform Certification & Operations team, learning across roles and gaining experience in IT, documentation, and project management while supporting customers and partners.

You will spend four days per week working at the Liverpool site and one day at The City of Liverpool College, developing workplace behaviours, effective communication, and structured

Qualifications

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Technical curiosity with training potential.
• Familiarity with PC/Laptop usage and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Complete all required checks, as specified by regional project leader and report any problems found in firmware/game titles.
• Ensure all bugs are identified and thoroughly investigated.
• Ensure all bug information, including classification, is accurately recorded for Team Leader sign-off.
• Follow and complete all test cases provided and ensure all procedures are followed.
• Thoroughly test all submissions to ensure compliance with the Technical Requirements Checklist across platforms, including PSVR.
• Learn updated CertOps procedures and TRC requirements and adjust testing accordingly.
• Create all applications for compliance testing (labelling, mastering checks, encryption, etc.).
• Assist in preparing training materials
• Perform general administration functions
• Provide business support and route tickets to the correct team
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure information is accurate and relevant
• Identify, develop, and disseminate communications internally and externally
• Provide progress updates to line manager on request
• Identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements
• Advocate for change and continuous improvement
