Job summary

Collinson Group seeks a Platform Engineering Manager to lead the shared technology platforms, cloud services, and tooling across its Insurance technology estate. You will guide Platform Engineering, support DevOps engineers, and promote consistent engineering standards to deliver secure, reliable software.

In this hybrid London role, you will partner with Security, Architecture and Engineering teams, drive resilience, observability, and incident response, and mentor engineers while managing

Qualifications

• Experience leading Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure teams.
• Experience operating cloud platforms in production.
• Experience with incident response, operational resilience and CSI improvements.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and automation tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own and operate shared platform services, cloud platforms and tooling with defined SLAs.
• Oversee third-party platform suppliers and ensure compliant service delivery.
• Lead platform operations incl. observability, incident management and DR testing.
• Drive platform lifecycle management, debt reduction and continual service improvement.
• Embed secure-by-design principles across platform services and tooling.
• Provide guidance to DevOps engineers and support product teams.
