Gigaton is seeking a Principal Cloud Engineer to lead our platform team, owning cloud architecture across AWS and GCP and mentoring engineers to push the boundaries of AI deployment for real-world manufacturing. You will design secure, scalable deployments and guide the team through architectural decisions that accelerate delivery in live environments.

Qualifications

• Experience designing cloud architectures with AWS/GCP.
• Mentor engineers and lead architectural discussions.
• Fluent in Agile practices and test-driven development.

Responsibilities

• Own key platform components across AWS and GCP, shaping architecture for scalable, secure systems.
• Deploy and operate workloads inside customer-owned cloud accounts with IT teams.
• Assist junior team members with development and best practices.
• Propose and drive improvements to existing systems and pipelines.
