Job summary

Inizio looks for a Platform Engineering Manager to lead Design Engineering & Cloud Enablement across the enterprise. You will set architectural direction and govern standards, guiding senior engineers and architects to design scalable, secure solutions.

Based in a hybrid model with London, Manchester, or Dublin offices, you will drive Azure and AWS adoption, deliver reusable patterns, and mentor teams while aligning IT strategy with business goals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Senior cloud or architecture certification such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Google Professional Cloud Architect, TOGAF.
• Additional qualifications in security, networking, IT service management, project delivery, or cloud financial management are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Set engineering standards, architectural direction, and quality expectations across enterprise platform estate.
• Oversee architecture governance and document solution designs through formal processes.
• Maintain reference architectures, technology standards, and ADRs across cloud, network, identity, observability, and integration domains.
