Job summary

Hunter Bond is seeking a Platform Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure behind mission-critical trading systems. This role offers genuine ownership of infrastructure operating at global scale, around the clock.

You will improve CI/CD pipelines, strengthen observability, automate self-service tooling, support containerized workloads, and drive reliability and performance across distributed systems with modern DevOps practices.

Qualifications

Experience as a Platform Engineer, SRE, or DevOps Engineer.
Strong Linux systems knowledge and automation experience.
Track record building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Hands-on with containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
Solid grasp of monitoring, logging, and observability platforms.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code and infra automation.
Genuine passion for building reliable, highly available platforms.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable platform infrastructure.
Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery.
Strengthen platform observability — monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting.
Build automation and self-service tooling engineers actually rely on.
Support containerized workloads and orchestration across large-scale environments.
Drive reliability, performance, and scalability improvements across distributed systems and middleware.
