Job summary

Our Future Health is seeking a Platform Engineer to bridge infrastructure and software engineering. You will build scalable health data systems, take part in GitOps, and drive best practices like testing and code reviews.

You’ll work with Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and IaC tools to mature a major health data platform used for de-identification and sharing in TREs. Hybrid remote arrangement in the UK is possible.

Qualifications

• Experience in cloud DevOps and large-scale live services.
• Hands-on IaC with Terraform, OpenTofu, Terragrunt, Pulumi.
• Excellent Python coding and automation.
• Experience with data pipelines/ETL processes.
• Kubernetes and Docker in production.
• Security best practices in cloud and data environments.
• Agile mindset with code reviews and pairing.

Responsibilities

• Launching new services and integrating complex systems with partners.
• Collaborate with product managers to shape solutions from idea to implementation.
• Day-to-day support of feature development, tech debt removal, and platform improvements.
• Architectural planning, incident reviews, and on-call rotations.
• Participate in wider engineering initiatives and community growth.
