Job summary

Principality Building Society is seeking a Platform Engineer to build reliable, secure platforms that accelerate software delivery. You will champion DevOps, create environments and integrations across the lifecycle, and drive CI/CD capabilities in a hybrid working setup.

You will collaborate with delivery teams and governance to improve automation, testing, and deployment processes while applying secure engineering practices and data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tooling.
• Working knowledge of Azure DevOps and cloud technologies.
• Understanding of on-premises and cloud infrastructure, including virtualization and containers.
• Experience with SQL and .NET and related automation tooling.
• Understanding of non-functional testing and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve DevOps capability, delivery environments and non-functional testing support across change delivery team.
• Develop CI/CD and automation solutions to improve delivery speed while maintaining quality.
• Create and manage technical environments, data and integrations across the software delivery lifecycle.
• Design and improve deployment processes for managed environments.
• Explore and introduce tools aligned with industry best practice, reducing friction and cost of delivery.
• Partner with delivery teams to understand requirements, support adoption and share knowledge.
• Use DevOps metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Apply secure engineering and testing practices to the solutions you help deliver.
